Best amazon prime movies and TV shows not on netflix
Full list of Amazon Prime stuff not on Netflix.
1. Downton Abbey
Settle down with tea and crumpets and indulge in this delectable BBC import. The award-winning show is almost as famous stateside as it is across the pond, and with good reason. The high-class Crawley family and their servants is a lesson in post-Edwardian society and juicy melodrama.Image: Courtesy of Nick Briggs/Carnival Film and Television Limited 2013 for MASTERPIECE
2. Chappelle's Show
Dave Chappelle set the bar ridiculously high with his perfect, three-season series. Not only is it the gold standard of sketch comedy television, but it also tackled racial topics and stereotypes with a hilarious flourish.Video: YouTube, bagheera
3. Key and Peele
Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele grabbed the sketch comedy baton from Chappelle for their hilarious Comedy Central series. The biracial comics often joke about race, but are just as comfortable crafting sketches about Les Miserables, the mafia and puppies.Video: YouTube, Comedy Central4. The Good Wife
The critically acclaimed series is nowhere to be found on Netflix, which is quite a coup for Amazon. Starring Emmy and Golden Globe winner Julianna Margulies, Wife follows a woman who has to join the work force again after her philandering husband lands himself in prison.Image: David Giesbrecht/CBS
5. Alpha House
You'll never see this series on Netflix because it's an Amazon original. It's a comedic take on D.C. politics, starring four Republican senators living in a house together. Also, it stars John Goodman, who is basically a good luck charm sent from the TV and film gods.Video: YouTube, amazonstudios
6. Workaholics
Once upon a time, this hilarious series about three moronic best friends had a home on Netflix. It escaped, but thankfully Amazon snatched up the cripplingly funny post-grad adventures of Ders, Adam and Blake.Video: YouTube, Comedy Central7. '90s Nickelodeon
Is there a TV period more beloved than ‘90s Nickelodeon? Probably not, and Amazon knows it. Though it does not have any complete series collections, you can watch a smattering of episodes from these kids' classics: Kenan and Kel, Rocko's Modern Life, All That, The Amanda Show, Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, Hey Arnold, CatDog and more.Image: Jerine
8. Daria
Oh Daria, the animated guide on how to be a surly, sarcastic feminist. Watch this witty, well-crafted series for one-liners like “I've been busy procrastinating all day.” The Beavis and Butthead spinoff may have been one of the best shows MTV ever made.Video: YouTube, ShayraYemachi
