Let's stop with the self-help guilt. That feeling that you can't focus on anything long enough to get real work done isn't a discipline problem. It's a Brain Rot problem (unless you've been clinically diagnosed).
I value systematic thinking and organization. We need logic for our projects, but we forget the most crucial rule for ourselves: Garbage in, garbage out.
Here's the proof: A recent study on AI showed that throwing just a tiny bit of viral, low-quality web content at a powerful model caused its whole thinking engine to seize up. It totally lost its ability to reason critically.
Think about that. If a massive, advanced AI can have its critical thinking completely ruined by minimal exposure to "junk data," what is non-stop scrolling doing to the only brain you have? That mental fog isn't you failing. It's your system failing because you gave it bad inputs.
You're the product manager of your own time. Stop filling your main office (ie your mind) with trash. Protect your focus like it's the gold standard asset. You can't build your biggest vision on a foundation of low-quality noise.
