Most dev teams obsess over "doing it right." But "done fast" often beats "done perfect."
Customers aren't buying clean code or test coverage. They're buying outcomes. They want their pain solved, their growth unlocked, their product working. Fast.
I once worked with a client who delayed launch for three months chasing the perfect architecture. Meanwhile, a competitor shipped a rough MVP, grabbed market attention, and signed their biggest prospect. I helped them pivot, rebuild fast, and regain traction, but that delay came at a steep cost.
The key isn't choosing between fast and right. It's having someone who knows where doing it right actually pays off, and where speed is the real win. That judgment call is where strategy turns into competitive advantage.
The fastest way to lose a customer is to build the "right" thing too late.
