In our technical interviews, I ask candidates to share their screen and actively encourage them to use any resources they need. Google, documentation, even AI/LLMs.
We're not running an exam. We're testing for a proactive, curious, and collaborative colleague. The goal is to observe how you think and debug - not whether you've memorized function signatures or library calls (which, if the first is true, you get out of the box).
